How to get involved: Key Stage 4 Girls

If you are in Y10 or Y11, you can get involved and develop outstanding leadership skills in all subject areas as you start to think about your future education, Sixth Form, university and the world of work!

Firstly, we are looking for volunteers to run sessions at Girls’ Night, our exciting new extra-curricular club at Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School. If you have a talent or skill that you can share or teach to a group of Key Stage 3 girls, then this is the opportunity for you! Examples include dancing, singing, arts and crafts, hairdressing and cooking. Or if you would just like to come along and help supervise then you are also more than welcome!

Secondly, we are looking for permanent members of ’empower’ who will attend weekly meetings to organise whole-school events and promote ’empower’ within the school and the local community.

Both of these opportunities are exclusive and will be highly sought-after so get involved quickly to avoid disappointment! See Miss Raindi for more details.

How to get involved: Key Stage 3 Girls

If you are in Y7, Y8 or Y9 you can come along to Girls’ Night. This is our exciting new extra-curricular club on offer at Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School. The club will run in the amazing new school library once a week (day to be confirmed) after-school. There will be lots of brilliant things for you to do. We will watch DVDs, engage in girly debates to practice our communication, have guest-speakers, take part in workshops and share our talents, as well as learn from our very own role-models and talented girls in Key Stage 4.

If you are interested in getting involved, contact Miss Raindi in TH4. Get there quick to avoid disappointment!

Our vision

As a part of ’empower,’ our vision is to be strong, smart and successful females in all aspects of school life. We aim to uphold the highest standards of punctuality, attendance, uniform and behaviour. We will strive to embrace the catholic ethos of our school on a daily basis and support all females and students in our school community and beyond.

Our logo

Wherever you see the sign below around school, you will know that the girls behind ’empower’ have ¬†been involved. The sign itself has been designed by our very own students and represents the strength and determination our girls will show in all tasks, whilst also embracing the catholic ethos of our school.
